HIGHLANDS RESIDENCE I

By incorporating re-claimed bricks into the kitchen we were able to set the tone for this prarie inspired retreat. Adding contemporary west coast light fixtures and classic creamy white cabinetry made the space feel fresh and inviting. We left the fir joists exposed and stained them in a deep chocolate cherry so they would balance the coolness of the exposed concrete floor. The walls were painted in a soft buttery yellow to reflect the light to create the warm sunny glow of a late prarie evening.
